Artificial Condition (The Murderbot Diaries, #2)
Fun little book. (And I do mean little; very short read). This book worked better for me than the first one since it so quickly focussed in just on the narrator. And I love the voice the author has developed for her, the prose narrative style. It reads straightforwardly enough but every once in awhile some odd observation or disruption in emotional flow will remind you you're reading the words of a MurderBot, not a human being, it's quite a clever device. The actual plot here was kinda meh but sufficient for the real purpose, which was to develop a backstory and future for our MurderBot's life. Looking forward to more.
