The Hero of Ages (Mistborn, #3)
Hey, this third book was great! I was kind of let down by the second book, it felt a bit off kilter. But the conclusion of the trilogy is great. Tight story, good character development, and lots of payoff for the world-building and systems Sanderson set up.I really like his treatment of religion and the theme of ancient knowledge. Also unreliable knowledge. And the way Ruin works insidiously, undermining the world. It seemed remarkably intelligent and subtle and reflected a bit on the larger human condition in a way fantasy books often don't. Also made for a fun story, even if the end got a little too 2001-monolith for me.
